POPS OF RED: DEFURIA BEVERLY HILLS BAG STRAP AND 2BUNNIEZ HAT

Yay, finally coming through with a new blog post. Been busy with work, but the reality is that I’ve also been totally consumed by my new hobby—bouldering (indoor rock climbing). It’s a strenuous workout, and every muscle in my body has been sore for two months straight. My hands are calloused and cramped, and my nails look horrific 99% of the time, but besides all that, I feel fantastic and so much stronger. And I love the fact that Eddie and I have a healthy and adventurous activity we can enjoy together.

I just may need to write a proper bouldering post in the future, but right now I’m sharing a couple of my new favorite accessories: the Defuria Beverly Hills Maxine bag strap in red ostrich, and the super adorable 1Bunnie cap by Ilani Fay. Just so happens that the boss-babe makers of both of these products are friends of mine.

I’ve posted about Courtney Defuria (@defuria_beverlyhills)’s exotic handbags before (see old post here). I love that she expanded her line to include bag straps. I chose the red one because it’s the classic “pop of color,” but I’m also loving the yellow one in lizard.

The gold hardware is beautiful and highest in quality.

I attached the strap to my baby blue Givenchy Antigona, and it looks pretty darn good! I also put the strap on my yellow Antigona, my Tumi laptop bag, and my Street Fighter fight stick (?.), and they all look fabulous. But I always come back to this powder blue + red combo.

I also want to give a quick shoutout to my girl Ilani Fay for creating these super cute hats based on her animation characters, 2 Bunniez.

Ilani’s designs and art is always cute, funny, and quirky–which is how I would describe her too. She inspires me and I feel creative juices flow through my brain whenever I wear this hat.
