Hello and happy summertime! Summer is by far my favorite season of the year. I love the heat, comfortable outfits, pool lounging, and light fabrics and colors.
Today I’m repeating one of my favorite tops with some distressed denim shorts. Easy breezy.
This is one of my favorite tops (and no stranger to the blog; old post here) not only because the fit and quality are superb, but because it’s one of those pieces that elevates a really simple outfit. The semi-sheer mesh panel adds so much texture and dimension it makes jean shorts and sandals something I wanted to blog about!
I kept this burgundy fringed bucket bag on the closet shelf for the past few months because my silly brain was conditioned to think of it as mostly a Fall or Winter crossbody. But then I woke up and realized how great it goes with my summer blush tones and whites.
Finally found a pair of white distressed denim shorts that fit without being too short or exposing my bum cheeks. The trick was to size up. These are from H&M and I’m usually a size 2. These are a size 6, a little loose in the waist, but still fit nicely.
And here again are the Dolce Vita sandals that are so comfortable!
