METALLICS AND BLUSH

Hello and happy Wednesday! Today I’m playing with metallic textures and pairing them with blush tones. And I’m loving the combination so much!

I never told you this, but I have a personal shopper. And that’s who found these cute faux leather metallic shorts for me. She usually peruses the clearance racks in stores like Forever 21 for things that I might like, and every week we meet for dinner where she shows me what she’s picked out for me. She has terrific taste and the best part is her services are free (including the clothes!). Okay okay, I’m talking about my mom. 🙂

She said she found them on the F21 clearance rack for less than $4!

Have you heard of Defuria Handbags? I was so happy to have discovered this local (Los Angeles/Beverly Hills) brand and its beautiful and talented designer, Courtney Defuria. Courtney hand-sews gorgeous, high-quality leather bags that are both classic and contemporary. While I adore her quilted bags, I absolutely fell in love with the petite mirror flap bag.

I love the feel of the reflective leather and the gun metal chain strap!

And finally, let’s talk about my shoes. These are not $975 Valentino Rockstuds. I found these dupes on Amazon. They are made by Kaitlyn Pan, which is the same brand as my over-the-knee boots (seen in this post). Since I was pleased with the quality of the boots and glad I didn’t splurge on Stuart Weitzman Lowlands, I thought I’d give these dupes of the iconic studded flats a chance. And you know what, they are gorgeous.

As far as dupes go, these ballet flats fit true to size and were a great purchase.
