Happy July. It’s my birthday month, and I’m feeling like I just want to have a low-key celebration. Maybe just a nice dinner with family. I think that’s all that “old people” really want…
In this post, I’m sharing the ASOS Petite leopard print dress that I bought at the last minute before my mom’s birthday dinner. My mom wanted to celebrate just like how I’m planning to celebrate my birthday: a great dinner with family at a lovely restaurant.
When I ordered this leopard print dress, I wasn’t sure how it’d suit me or how great it’d fit. The pattern is a pale pink with navy (I know it looks black in some of the photos, but it’s navy blue), and the material is slightly stretchy. The cut is so flattering and there is some ruching of the material at the belly area with an elasticized waist to hide any trouble spots or after-dinner bloat.
ASOS Petite has never let me down. The length is perfect (I’m 5’1″) and the dress is true to size. I’m wearing a US 0.
I wore nude pumps because nude pumps go with everything. I need to add some cute heeled sandals to my closet. But since I rarely get to wear my beloved pumps these days, I take the opportunity whenever I get it.
I also added the Givenchy Antigona (mini size) in nude pink to my bag collection. Yay. I’ve been so good about not buying fancy bags or shoes, that when I saw this on the preowned market at such an amazing price, I didn’t feel too guilty about the purchase.
There definitely ain’t no shame in buying used items when you want the look and not pay thousands of dollars. There also ain’t no shame in buying designer dupes either. Don’t forget to check out my Amazon page full of awesome highly rated dupes!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’re having a wonderful summer so far!
