STRIPED TOP AND COLOR POPS OF PINK AND YELLOW

I never wear stripes and this Forever 21 striped top has been hanging in my closet for months. It was probably going to get the axe (either donated or demoted to a sleep shirt) in my next KonMari cleanout, but then I bought yellow shoes and everything changed.

I’m loving the combination of black and white with splashes of yellow (and pink!). It’s fun, summery, a little bit 80s, and somehow very classic.

Whenever I see Christian Louboutin Pigalle or Decollete pumps on sale (or preowned for a great price like these!), I can’t pass them up. I’ve been wanting to add pops of yellow to my wardrobe so when I saw these for around 70% off retail, I had to scoop them up. The Real Real listed them as So Kates, but I knew they were Decolletes (one of my fave and one of the more comfortable styles of CL). So Kates have a higher heel and steeper instep, which is too intense for me to even walk in. So I was super happy about this find.

These earrings are so old that they went out of style, and are back in again hahah.

I’ve been carrying this little pink DeFuria bag everywhere. Not only is it the perfect pop of pink, but the glazed lizard skin is so…well…fancy! Such a good pairing with pointy pumps!
