COMPANY PARTY: COCOON DRESS AND BOOTIES

Hello! And sorry for being MIA for the past several days. I was sick with a nasty head cold that wouldn’t go away (and still kind of hanging around). But now I’m getting back into the swing of things.

Today I headed over to the country club in Pasadena for our company holiday party. We always have our holiday party after the actual holidays because the scheduling works out better for everyone, and it’s probably a lot cheaper to rent the venue for the day.

The company I work for is much more casual than most corporate businesses, and the venue was pretty laid back too…so here I am in a dress that’s not too dressy and some nice wedge-style booties:

I love this ASOS Petite dress. It’s so warm and the cocoon fit is more fun than typical sweater dresses.

This is a basic dress that can be dressed up or down easily.

A pop of holiday red.

These diamond-pattern tights add some texture to basic pieces.

Are these wedges or are they heels? No wonder they’re called the morphing booty.
